Brunn Racing prepared two cars for the 2012 Le Mans Classic event. The Sauber C5 was driven by Yves and Philippe Scemama. George Tuma shared his Porsche 3.0 RSR together with Jim Pace. Also running was Roald Goethe's Porsche 908/3. Brunn Racing had completely rebuilt the 8-cylinder engine, prepared gearbox and suspension for the car. The C5 had a good first race and would have finished in 6th position. Due to a misfunction of the transponder not all laps were counted. In the second race Philippe stormed to second place overall in the rain. After heavy rain coming in the C5 spun on the Hunaudière Straight and damaged bodywork and wing.

George and Jim were more lucky in the changing conditions and finished 4th overall in the Plateua 6 Performance Index (12th normal). Roald Goethe in his Porsche 908/3 also had superb result, winning the third race and finishing third overall on the Pleatau 5 Performance Index (2nd normal).
